Rob Jackson, MS, LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor | Christian Life Coach
Something is broken beneath the surface — and most of us know it. After 40 years of walking with individuals, couples, and families through their most difficult seasons, I’ve found that lasting change rarely happens at the surface. Real transformation starts deeper down.

That conviction gave rise to The Iceberg Model™ — a nine-step, Christ-centered framework that integrates biblical truth, psychology, and emotional intelligence to address the whole person. It’s not a program. It’s a way of seeing yourself honestly and allowing God to do what only He can do: change you from the inside out.

Two kinds of intensive work:
Coaching Intensives (4 days) are available remotely or in-person in greater Orlando, FL. These don’t include clinical assessment or diagnosis — they’re focused, faith-grounded work for individuals and couples ready to go deep on issues like marriage restoration, parenting, family estrangement, sexual integrity, betrayal trauma, or unwanted same-sex attraction. Learn more at icebergology.com/intensives.

Clinical Intensives (5 days) are available in Oxford, MS for those who need formal assessment alongside their intensive work. These include the MMPI-3 and MCMI-IV — the current gold-standard instruments for personality and psychopathology — and allow for diagnosis and treatment within my licensure and the state of Mississippi.

If you’re a parent of an LGBT-identifying child, you’re likely holding two things at once: deep love for your child and deep conviction about what’s true. As a counselor employed by Focus on the Family, I work daily with families navigating exactly this tension. My upcoming book When Grace Meets Conviction: Loving God and Your LGBT Child (Focus on the Family / Tyndale House, releasing fall 2026) speaks directly to where you are. In the meantime, parenting cohorts and intensives are available now at icebergology.com/gmc-cohorts.
In 2013, Dr. James Dobson interviewed me on his national broadcast about The Seductive Lure of Internet Porn. You can find that conversation at drjamesdobson.org.

My wife Renee and I have been married since 1987. We live in Altamonte Springs, FL, and have two adult children, a daughter-in-law, two mighty fine grandchildren, and one loyal cat.
