I am a licensed clinical psychologist bringing skilled and experienced consultation and care in a variety of areas of expertise. I treat children, adolescents and adults in individual, couple, family and group settings. I use evidence-based practice, meaning the treatments that have been shown to be effective in professional research settings. With Christian clients, I implement a model of integration of faith and professional counseling. I specialize in Cognitive Therapy and Behavioral therapies, but also work from psychodynamic perspectives. I am board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), in the area of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. I work in-person with patients at my office in Golden, Colorado. I am also available remotely for clients residing in 43 PSYPACT-accredited states, and I am additionally actively licensed in California for residents of California seeking remote care. In my work with children, I use play therapy techniques to implement cognitive and behavioral therapy.
