The first time I tried therapy I was in my early 20s and newly working, and I tried going through my insurance. I really wanted a Christian therapist, but I was trying to save money. A year later without finding the help I needed, I found an excellent Christian therapist outside my insurance. I finally felt heard and seen, and from someone who understood and shared my faith.
Ten years ago I had a career in “corporate America” and decided I wanted to do something even more meaningful to me. I went back to school to become a Christian therapist, to help others the way I had been helped. I longed to go below the surface to really get to know people on a deeper level — to come alongside other believers who were suffering, or just needed support.
My therapy style blends honesty and insight with warmth and empathy. During our time together, my aim is that you will feel heard and understood in new ways that will help you move towards your goals and spiritual growth. I offer video appointments or in-person in my Torrance office.
