Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I provide remote services only
I am a mother of twin teenage daughters and a 13‑year‑old son, and I have been married for more than 18 years. I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends, especially relaxing at local wineries.
My professional background includes extensive experience in forensic mental health, providing services to individuals in county detention settings, as well as supporting both special education and general education students in the public school system. I have spent many years in private practice working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, PTSD, and stress related to high‑pressure work environments.
My desire to understand people on a deeper, more meaningful level led me to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. It is an honor to walk alongside clients in their healing journey, even if only for a brief season of their lives.
I am a strong supporter of law enforcement officers, active‑duty military personnel, and veterans. I work closely with couples—both premarital and postmarital—using Gottman‑informed approaches to strengthen communication, connection, and relational resilience. I am also trained to conduct Forensic Mental Health Evaluations required by the court, including immigration evaluations, fitness‑for‑duty assessments, and substance‑use evaluations.
For clients who desire it, I offer Faith‑Based Christian Counseling. My therapeutic style is direct, solution‑focused, and grounded in exploring personal values and strengthening self‑esteem.
Trainings include: Gottman Level 1, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator through National Board of Forensic Evaluators.
