I Help Couples Restore Selfless Loving in Marriage!

I entered the people-helping fields back in 1993, when I saw a church homeless ministry doing more than just give a little change to people in tough spots. They actually talked to people and tried to help. When I realized that I have the ability to help people by really listening to them, I dove in! Besides tutoring kids and working a phone hotline, I trained for counseling and worked under professionals’ supervision. I earned a Master’s in Social Work degree (MSW) from Jane Addams College of Social Work, complementing my Bachelor’s from Northwestern University. Scores of additional trainings honed my current specialization in several forms of marital counseling, as well as my proficiency in helping people with mood difficulties, trauma, grief, men’s issues, and life changes. I have worked in the Christian inpatient program Rapha, in several psychiatric care hospitals, and at several ministries. I also am a public speaker, covering topics including Happily Married, Attachment Parenting, and Men Breaking Free. I also have put on marriage enrichment events, with 20 years specializing in marriage. I was married for 22 years until the passing of my wife. I am licensed in Kentucky as an LCSW.
