Josee D’Amore is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her Master of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel University in San Diego, CA. The Master’s program emphasis included integrating Psychology and the Christian faith.
Josee’s practice is called Gems of Hope Counseling. She operates out of two locations:

She is currently available to meet with adults of all ages, for mostly individual counseling. Couples and Family therapy is on a case-by-case basis.
Her areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, OCD, grief, relationship dynamics, attachment styles, work-setting dynamics, physical illness, sleep issues, parenting, and co-dependency, career, faith-issues, missionary re-entry, and phobias/fears.
She considers her role as a therapist to be a calling and a mission. She finds deep fulfillment in helping others find God-given peace, freedom, comfort, insight, confidence, and effective life skills in navigating life’s challenges. It is a priority for Josee to create a safe place for every client.
