Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate | AMFT
I help people move out of survival mode and into wholeness using somatic psychotherapy.
I help adolescents, adults, and premarital couples navigate life transitions, process trauma, and work through anxiety. Additionally, I work with individuals navigate life transitions, chronic illness, and relationship distress.
I am also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator and greatly enjoy working with premarital couples as they prepare for marriage.
My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, gentle, and deeply collaborative. I believe that to be fully seen and fully loved is transformational. In therapy, we will work together to create space for all parts of your experiences to be seen and compassionately held. I use an integrative approach, combining psychodynamic therapy and somatic therapy, tailoring sessions to each client’s individual needs and preferences. In addition to talk therapy, I utilize somatic techniques to create . Together, we will set goals, tap into your strengths, and create patterns of connection that work for you.
I earned my Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, CA) and am a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (#149898) in the state of California. Before training to be a therapist, I studied theology, communications, and ministry at Whitworth University (Spokane, WA).
Outside of work you can find me curled up with a book, trying new recipes in the kitchen, spending time outside, hopping around coffee shops, and spending time with family & friends.
I offer in-person (Pasadena) & virtual sessions for people living in California.
