I have a Biblically biased passion for helping people find their value. I enjoy helping them work toward personal goals while addressing the realities of life surrounding the processes of healing and grow within abuse, disabilities, loss, addictions, marital and premarital issues, trauma, employment, mental health issues, and the stress of daily living. My interests lie in assisting adolescents, adults, and heterosexual couples who are seeking healing, peace, and joy in their lives. I understand that it can be difficult for those who are struggling to attain a peaceful and positive state of mind. I have a passion for family cohesion and secure attachments. Talking with a trusted counselor about experiences, emotions, thoughts, and feelings is a great first step towards creating a change and positive direction in life.
I believe that, in the journey through counseling, one can expect growth and deepening of self-awareness, acceptance of the realities in life, and taking personal actions that will move oneself towards improvement in mind, body, and spirit. My approach is to be present with my clients and to help them find their voice by providing a safe and respectful environment. I offer coping strategies, assistance in setting and reaching personal goals, and guidance in reflecting on and discovering one’s intrinsic value.
