Hi! I am Shea. I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner working in psychiatry. I practice tele-medicine from a Christian perspective and worldview, where hope and faith is placed in the Lord and not this world. I have several years of experience working with people that desire to improve their wellness. I completed my training and specialization in the field of psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. I am able to formally diagnosis, prescribe medications, order testing and laboratory work, and interpret results. I am legally recognized by the state to complete and sign off on court evaluations, FMLA and disability (as clinically indicated). Although I often use medication to treat I also make appropriate referrals to other health professionals as needed. I understand medications are not always needed, and when needed often needed only for a time, hence I also work with patients that desire to be free from medications!
