Sandy Ujfalusy

Licensed Professional Counselor – Candidate | MA, LPCC

My desire is to bring care and compassion into the counseling relationship. I believe there is hope in breaking free from pain and fear, ultimately bringing about a life of purpose and joy. I bring with me experience in family relationships, raising children (who are now all adults), and marriage. Life in the military also brings with it the experience of instability and change in family and relationships. I believe each person has their own story to tell and that ultimately, healing is possible.
In my therapeutic approaches I will incorporate cognitive-behavior (CBT) , EMDR, and Emotionally Focused therapy, including other modalities and Christian counseling, depending on each person’s unique needs and goals. My desire is to treat each person as a whole, to include emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.
My passion is to work with teens, young adults, individuals, couples and families. I hope to help those with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss. By creating a safe environment, I desire to walk through life experiences with each individual while partnering with them to find the best possible route to find healing and health.
