Licensed Independent Social Worker - Supervisor

Do you feel like your past keeps showing up in your present no matter how hard you try to move forward? Maybe you carry the weight of trauma, unwanted sexual experiences, shame, relationship wounds, or struggles with intimacy that no one else fully sees. You may feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together while internally battling anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-harm, or feeling disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or even from God.

Many people come to counseling wondering if healing is actually possible after everything they have experienced. Ignoring those wounds often keeps people stuck in cycles of fear, isolation, unhealthy relationships, emotional shutdown, or feeling like they are never enough. I believe you were not created to simply survive your story. Healing, connection, and peace are possible.

In counseling, I take a direct, honest, and trauma-informed approach that is centered around your unique story and goals. We start by understanding what is keeping you stuck and identifying the patterns, beliefs, and experiences impacting your present life and relationships. Together, we work on building emotional regulation, boundaries, communication skills, and a deeper sense of safety within yourself and with others. I use evidence-based approaches including DBT, somatic and body-based counseling, EFT, trauma-focused care, and Gottman-informed techniques for couples. As a Christian therapist, I also integrate Biblical principles, prayer, and faith into the counseling process, while creating a space where you can honestly wrestle with doubts, pain, and questions without judgment.

Helping hurting individuals find healing and purpose is my passion. My goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you can finally stop pretending you are okay and begin rebuilding a life that feels grounded, connected, and whole. Clients often leave counseling feeling more confident, emotionally aware, equipped with practical tools, and able to engage in healthier relationships with themselves, others, and God.

I work with adults, teens 16+, individuals, and couples both in person and virtually. If you are ready to take the next step toward healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
