I am a missionary kid who was born and raised in Hong Kong. I have had a lifelong heart for families, recognising many problems kids face stem from systemic issues within the nuclear family itself. I am a firm believer all things can be healed through Christ, and that I am called to extend this healing by being the “hands and feet of Jesus”. The training I have had and the work I have done (at a local domestic violence shelter, church, small horse ranch, community mental health clinic and group practice) have all taught me skills I draw on daily in my work with people. My cross-cultural upbringing gives me a unique sensitivity to multicultural issues. I am compelled to work to strengthen family foundations and build up relationships by sharing skills and tools based on Biblical principles.
I received my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University and have maintained licensure as a Marital and Family Therapist (Missouri) since 2012.
