Jerry (Jeff) Watts

Jeff is a pastor with a heart for counseling. He has served in churches throughout North Carolina for the past 23 years as either a senior or associate pastor. He received his Bachelors from Texas Tech University in Economics in 1989, his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in the year of 1992 and his Masters in Clinical Counseling from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina in the year of 2003. Jeff was the Senior Pastor at Caroleen Baptist Church from 1995 till 2001 when the Lord moved his family to Gastonia to work at Gaston Memorial Hospital in the Emergency room until December 2003 where he completed his LPC. Jeff was then asked to be on staff at Parkwood Baptist Church in the roles of Administrator, Pastor of Pastoral Care, and Counseling and served in that capacity until 2009. Jeff then took the role as Pastor or Discipleship and Counseling until 2013 when Jeff moved to Flint Groves Baptist church to be the Family Discipleship Pastor and Counselor. Jeff has counseled hundreds of couples, families, and individuals in times of need pointing them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
