Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Associate, Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate
I provide remote services only
Even as a teenager, I found myself working with teenagers. From leading small groups in high school to serving as the Director of Counseling at a Christian international school in South Korea, God has consistently given me a heart for young people.
For the last 10 years, I’ve worked in school settings in both the U.S. and South Korea, walking alongside students as they navigate the social, emotional, and spiritual struggles that often surface during these formative years. Today, I focus on helping teens and young adults make sense of their inner world, their relationships, their faith, and their purpose.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington and Idaho (online only), supervised by Kari Barrett. My work is clinically grounded and evidence-informed, drawing from cognitive therapies, ACT, and an understanding of how thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and behaviors shape the way we move through the world. In therapy, we slow things down enough to notice what is happening internally, identify patterns that may be keeping a young person stuck, and begin building a life that reflects their values, relationships, and faith in a more integrated way.
I believe good therapy is deeply relational. The relationship we build becomes part of the work itself. It’s a place where clients can be honest, feel known, practice new ways of showing up and (gasp!) even laugh sometimes.
Faith is welcome in the room, but it is never forced. This is therapy — not a Bible study, prayer session, or quick spiritual fix. Clients are free to bring their faith, doubts, questions, and wrestling into the work at their own pace, while still receiving thoughtful, ethical, evidence-based clinical care.
