What’s my background? I am an Illinois native who grew up in Naperville before attending Aurora University, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree. After getting married, I pursued a degree in counseling at the University of Illinois and received my Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling before entering the field of addictions, working with dual-diagnosis patients who struggled with multiple mental health concerns, including extreme anxiety & depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I then became a high school counselor at a private catholic college-preparatory high school while also teaching college courses at the local community college. I currently have my private practice, working with individual adults specializing in Christian/Biblical Therapies. I am working to earn certification through ACBC -Association of Certified Biblical Counselors – to better serve my clients.
