Whatever you’re facing, it is possible to have a better quality of life and I would be honored to work with you in that direction. I will lead or lean back as you need and collaborate with you to provide a space where you can release and gain perspective, real life solutions, and Biblical wisdom. I find great joy in counseling clients who are navigating times of transition, purpose, or lack of self-worth. I have worked extensively with foster/adoptive/kinship parents, grief, and sexual trauma. The thing is, if you could overcome the things that are troubling you on your own, you would have done it by now, so let’s try something new.
You may not be in a crisis, but just looking to grow as a person or check in to see if there are areas of your life you should be tending to. That is also a great time to come to therapy!
I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and attended Our Lady of the Lake University for my graduate studies. I have had the privilege of working with agencies like The Children’s Bereavement Center of San Antonio, The Rape Crisis Center, and 1 HOPE for Kids. I also have experience providing training for companies, schools, and churches as well as extensive experience providing group therapy and support.
My husband is also a therapist and we homeschool our four children. We love being outdoors, chillin’ with the chickens and walking alongside parents to learn how to correct while connecting with their children.
