Georgia Peckett

Licensed Mental Health Counselor | MS, LMHC

Georgia completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology through the University of South Alabama in 1989. Twenty-four years later she enrolled at Evangel University to earn her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Georgia received her certification as a Gatekeeper from the Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program. She has completed the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 training as well as Systematic Training for Effective Parenting curriculum. Georgia has completed several trauma based trainings including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional: Two­ Day Trauma Competency Conference, and 2-Day Intensive Trauma Treatment Certification Workshop as well as online lectures from leaders in the field of trauma treatment.

Upon graduation, Georgia moved to Florida where she is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Georgia is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and is an approved counselor for Emerge.

Georgia desires to see people live a life of wholeness and uses multiple appropriate therapy practices coupled with her compassion for clients to see them heal. She believes as long as you have breath, it is never too late to make changes and better your life.
