Esther is a licensed clinical professional counselor and the owner of Christian Trauma Counseling. She has an MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, a certificate in biblical counseling through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation, and has completed advanced training in trauma-informed therapies. Over the past ten years, she has gained experience working in a variety of outpatient mental health clinics and Christian counseling settings.
Esther specializes in helping adults and older teens who feel stuck in experiences of trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, and chronic pain. She is trained in EMDR therapy, which she uses in combination with narrative-focused counseling and Christian meditation to help people process their stories. In all of her counseling, she seeks to create safe relationships that lead to good conversations that point people towards the rest they can find in Christ.
