After working as a labor and delivery nurse for 8 years, I wanted to acquire the skills to help other’s heal emotionally. I went back to school and acquired a MS in Clinical Psychology from Evangel University in 2000. Shortly after that, I became an intensive therapist at what is now Hope Restored. Since that time, I have been in the marriage and family field as an author, teacher, and spokesperson for Focus on the Family. I have been in private practice for multiple years in Colorado Springs, working with both individual women and couples. I recently completed my training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I love watching the Lord transform and heal individual hearts, as well as restoring marriages. He created us to be connected–and it’s an honor to be used as a tool for HIM in this process.
