Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist | PhD, MDiv; Certified Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Trainer, Supervisor, & Therapist; Trainer & Facilitator for "Created for Connection: The Hold Me Tight® for Christian Couples"
I realize reaching out is not easy, and stepping into therapy may seem overwhelming on top of the challenges you’re experiencing. Is your marriage not improving in spite of your best efforts? Are the arguments getting worse? Are you living like roommates instead of lovers? Have you experienced a breach of trust or deep betrayal?
I use an approach that helps makes sense of what you’re currently experiencing and move toward your goals for your marriage. This process often leads to an experience of feeling truly heard, understood, and deeply connected. I can help you sort through all of the hurt, misunderstanding, and disconnection. I can help you gain clarity to move forward toward healing.
Let me help you experience your life and most important relationships in the way God intended.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve helped individuals, couples, and families navigate life as a pastor, Army Chaplain, and Marriage & Family Therapist. I served as an Army Chaplain for over 20 years with the last 4 years as the Director of a counseling center on Fort Liberty (formally Fort Bragg). I spent years deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan while assigned to airborne infantry and Special Forces units and a career caring for soldiers and their families upon their return.
Now retired from the Army, I specialize in marriage counseling with expertise in working with military and first responder couples having earned the designation of an ICEEFT certified Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) trainer, supervisor, and therapist.
When you’re ready to experience your life and marriage in a new way – I’m ready to support your valiant steps toward renewal.
