I’m Anne-Marie and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of Dr. Laurie Hightower. I specialize in walking with you to uncover the lies you have believed that have kept you from experiencing abundant life with Christ Jesus our Lord. Together we will defeat depression & anxiety and improve your relationships.
I was an elementary teacher for 5 years, when I realized I could serve my students better if I could help them and their families. I completed a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Mary’s University. I have struggled with feeling like an inadequate mom, hopelessness, and wanting to end my marriage, and while I am not perfect, I am on the other side and can say now that I have 4 wonderful children and a husband I adore. I want to be able to show you the way to hope and joy also.
Having the energy and optimism to find the right therapist can be hard and expensive, but the therapeutic relationship is almost half of what determines successful therapy; because of this I don’t charge for the initial intake session.
