I am a wife and mother of three boys and one heavenly daughter. I have been in private practice and also have practiced within the public school settings at all levels for over 22 years, and am in private practice only at this time.
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 with a B.S in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I then graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2002 with a M.A. in Counseling.
My passions are families, children (specifically Play Therapy), pre-marital, marital, and relational counseling.
I have been a Christ follower since I was 8 years old, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with other believers and their families.
I help my clients evaluate where they are and where they would like to be, working with them to assist in finding a pathway to their preferred future.
I do this primarily by meeting and accepting the client where they are at and then utilizing tenets of Solution Focused Brief Therapy, along with other treatment modalities.
I am a sole practitioner, and I office out of my church, Cypress Bible Church. I am also on staff with the church, serving within the Care & Counseling Ministry.
I have an office where I see adults, teens, and tweens, as well as a fully dedicated Playroom and Sandtray room.
