Mrs. Lorraine Wrage

Licensed Professional Counselor | M.Ed., LPC, CST, CCPS, NCC

Women seek my help to recover from betrayal trauma and for other women’s issues.

Couples call me for marriage counseling – whether that’s for pre-marital counseling, a “relationship tune-up”, marriage counseling, affair recovery, or sex / porn addiction recovery. I am able to connect with both spouses to help them both fight for and grow to enjoy a satisfying, healthy, intimate marriage.

Couples call me for sex therapy. Most therapists have never had even one class in sexuality. I am a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists (ABCST), which means I have completed extensive post graduate studies about sexual issues. I help couples with sexual functioning issues (desire, arousal, orgasm), pain with sex, sexual addiction / porn addiction recovery, anxiety about sex, sexual trauma recovery, and grief / loss related to miscarriage, abortion, & disability.

Adult individuals call me for help with personal crisis / personal growth, stress management, singleness / dating, life transitions such as divorce recovery, anxiety and depression about any life situation, and growing their sense of identity.

My private practice is located in a beautiful professional park setting where I share offices with several other clinicians. There I work with individual adults, couples, and groups. Sessions are usually 50-80 minutes long. My office is located in Sugar Hill, Georgia.

Licensed in Georgia, I am a graduate (2007) of the CACREP counseling program at the University of North Texas (Denton). I also have completed post graduate studies (2008) in sexuality from Richmont Graduate University (Atlanta). I am a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) through the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists (ABCST). I am an APSATS Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) trained to help betrayed partners recover from the trauma of their spouse’s infidelity/ Sex addiction. Currently I am a candidate to be certified in the ERCEM (Early recovery couples empathy model) that is the cutting edge of helping relationships heal from the trauma of sex addiction. Ongoing studies include Gottman Couples Therapy, and Gottman Treating Affairs and Trauma.
