Nancy has been involved with families and children in a variety of settings over the years. Her career beginnings were in teaching elementary school and as a guidance counselor. The past several years she has continued her work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice part-time, while raising her five children. She enjoys guiding individuals as they work through difficult life experiences and helping couples strengthen their marriage. The past few years her passion has grown in working with adoptive and foster families, using Trust-Based Relational Intervention, based on attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research. The parenting strategies of TBRI work well with all families, as the focus is on connection. Currently Nancy is working with adults, meeting virtually.
