Hi! I am Jolene Lantz, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor, AACC Board Certified Christian Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional 2 and an EMDR Certified and Consultant. On this side of heaven there is so much suffering, and my prayer is for you to receive clinical support in alignment with Christian theology and for you to feel unstuck and living an abundant life. I graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I later graduated summa cum laude, first out of over 600 graduate students, with my MA in Counseling Psychology from Saint Xavier University, Chicago. Since then I have completed post graduate work and ongoing clinical training and education which includes but is not limited to Gottman Level 2, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Sexual Addiction and Addiction Recovery, Thanatology and Palliative Care Counseling, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Focused EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also EMDR Certified and a Consultant in Training. I am so encouraged that you are contemplating therapy and I have boundless hope for your healing. It is my humble privilege to hold sacred space for you where emotional safety allows for healing disclosure. I have over 26 years of experience in a variety of settings including partial hospitalization programs, residential treatment, vocational rehabilitation, community mental health outpatient and educational. I have the greatest privilege to spend much of my days doing some of the greatest life work: therapeutically working with clients, I am a “retired” home educating parent to my now 3 adult children.
