Linett Jiménez Pérez is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Puerto Rico, a devoted Christian, wife, mother, adoptive mother, and grandmother whose personal and professional journey has been deeply shaped by her faith and passion for helping others.
With a Masters in Psychological Counseling, Linett has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in educational and clinical settings. Her private practice offers individual counseling, play therapy, couples therapy, and parent consultation focused on, parenting, discipline, behavioral challenges, and educational needs.
Her professional training includes Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Positive Discipline for Children and Families, Educational Therapy, Emotional Intelligence through Yale University’s RULER approach, Christian Relational Counseling, and Play Therapy. Her primarily person-centered approach emphasizes compassion, understanding, emotional safety, and meaningful connection.
As a Christian counselor, Linett believes that faith and psychological counseling can complement one another. Her relationship with Jesus Christ guides her personal life and inspires her commitment to serving others with integrity, empathy, and hope. She incorporates biblical principles, Scripture, and prayer when welcomed by clients, always respecting their individual beliefs and personal journeys.
Her experiences as a wife, mother of adult children, grandmother, and adoptive mother to a young son have enriched her understanding of relationships, parenting, trauma, attachment, and the transformative power of unconditional love. Walking through personal seasons of loss, challenges, and unexpected circumstances has also strengthened her trust in God’s faithfulness.
Throughout her life, Linett has actively served in church ministries involving worship, children, youth, couples, premarital preparation, and counseling. She also participates in “Padres Conectados: De la mente al corazón”, a Christian parenting podcast.
Linett’s heart is to create a safe, compassionate space where faith, professional counseling, and hope come together, helping individuals and families experience healing, strengthen relationships, and discover new possibilities for restoration and growth.
