Licensed Associate Counselor | LAC
I’m Chris Panepinto, a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who works with adults 18 and older, couples, and those preparing for marriage. I help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, OCD, grief, betrayal, relationship challenges, and patterns that can be difficult to change on their own.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University. I have completed EMDR basic training and am pursuing EMDR certification. My additional training includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, attachment-based approaches, and couples counseling.
I approach counseling with warmth, curiosity, and respect for your history and goals. My Christian faith is an important part of who I am and informs how I understand people, relationships, healing, and hope. My work is grounded in professional, evidence-based care, with space to incorporate faith into counseling when it is meaningful to you.
Outside the counseling office, I’ve been married for many years and am a mom to two young adults. I spent 11 years homeschooling my children and have enjoyed serving in women’s and prayer ministries. I love reading and, when Arizona temperatures cooperate, spending time outdoors.
I am an affiliate of Christian Counseling Services and practice under the clinical supervision of Perry Emerick, LPC.
I see clients at the South Scottsdale office on Tuesdays and the Mesa/Greenfield office on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Online counseling is also available throughout Arizona.
