Raised as a missionary kid in East Asia, I bring a deep understanding of cross-cultural ministry, faith, and resilience to my work as a therapist. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, and have lived and served in both the United States and East Asia, including time in a restricted-access country.
I currently work with Link Care in Fresno, California, and provide telehealth counseling services to clients in Texas as an independently licensed professional counselor (CA APPC20446; TX LPC #93112). My clinical experience includes serving as a therapist with Wycliffe Bible Translators’ counseling ministry and working as an addiction counselor at a recovery center in Colorado.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with sensitivity to faith and spiritual formation. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Addiction Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and have completed Level One training in Gottman Method Couples Counseling. I am especially passionate about supporting missionaries, ministry workers, and cross-cultural families through transitions, stress, and relational challenges.
