Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor | L.P.C., L.M.F.T
Deb grew up in a non-Christian home with a brother three years younger. Her father was Jewish, with PTSD from his experiences in World War 2. Her parents divorced after 13 years; Deb was 10 years old. Both parents remarried within two years, and Deb grew up in a blended family in her teen years. In college, Deb encountered a variety of New Age religions and dabbled in the drug culture, but after graduating with a degree in Occupational Therapy, she gave her life to Jesus in her mid 20’s. Life turned around for her at that point, and Deb went on to Bible College and then met and married Craig. They raised three children – a daughter and two sons. Craig is an electrical engineer, and has a Master of Divinity, and pastored a church for a short while. However, as almost empty nesters, they both went to school for a Masters in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy, and then ran a non profit counseling center together for 10 years. They now have two grandchildren and enjoy living near all three of their grown kids. Deb continues to counsel in her private practice in Kennesaw, Georgia, and has fun creating art and offering workshops in her home based art studio.
