Majo Birdsall

Licensed Professional Counselor | MS, LPC

My mission is to walk alongside you, helping you overcome past traumas and create a safe environment where you feel heard and empowered to heal. I am committed to being on your team every step of the way. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am licensed in the state of Arizona. Extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I specialize in addressing trauma, grief, fertility issues, and relationship struggles.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to meet your unique needs. I utilize various modalities, including EMDR therapy, IFS/Parts Work, Sandtray, Attachment, CBT/DBT, EFIT, Solution-Focused, and Psychodrama therapies. I am also a certified member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

I believe we were all created uniquely, so similar situations may affect everyone differently. I also recognize that life is not perfect, and we all go through events that shape our lives. However, those events and traumas do not define us. I believe in the potential of all individuals to live up to the life they were created for, free of judgment and bondage. Each day presents a new opportunity to rewrite our stories, and I am here to support you in that journey. I believe there is redemption and restoration, and therapy is a great first step and beneficial for personal growth.

I believe Jesus has the power to heal and restore, and I am just an instrument He uses to guide others. That is an honor I never want to take for granted. In my free time, you’ll often find me hiking or paddleboarding with my husband, exploring local coffee shops while listening to podcasts or reading, and relaxing at home with my little Shih-Tzu while watching a good movie or show.
