I work with women ages 18+ who present with symptoms of eating disorders (including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and orthorexia), body dysmorphia, perfectionism, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, relationship issues, and depression.
I graduated with my BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. I work from Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy treatment modalities while remaining flexible to adapt to each individual’s unique needs.
I earned my Eating Disorder Informed Professional Designation from the Eating Recovery Center and am working toward becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I completed training in the treatment of OCD (through Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy) and trauma (through the International Trauma Training Institute) and am a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP).
