Licensed Professional Counselor – Candidate, Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate | MA, LPCC, MFTC
I specialize in couples and families, anxiety, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder. My goal is to provide the tools necessary to succeed on your own, helping clients learn skills in conflict resolution, communication skills, connection, etc. I believe we are highly impacted and shaped by our histories, family backgrounds, and relationships, and understanding where you come from helps to get you where you want to go. It is my goal to walk beside you as you move toward healing and wholeness. I believe there is hope for every person, marriage, and family and I’d love to help you grow and learn tools to equip you through the highs and lows of life. Since my undergrad (BS in Psychology with Colorado Christian University) and my graduate school education (MA of Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University) both focused on the integration of psychology and theology, I am able to incorporate faith and spirituality into the healing process. This is your journey and therapy will reflect that.
I have been inter-ethnically/inter-culturally married since 2000. Together we’ve had to navigate marriage with very different upbringings and thought processes. We are also blessed to be raising three amazing kids into adulthood which comes with its own experiences and areas of growth. Finally, as a veteran’s wife whose first 15 years of marriage were while my husband was active duty, 7 of which we lived overseas, I also have a heart for those families impacted by military life.
