I am Beth Hastings and I help people in life’s most challenging situations. I am a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and seminary-trained biblical counselor with over 15 years of counseling experience. I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, PA (near Philadelphia), where I also studied at the nearby Christian Counseling & Education Foundation (CCEF). I hold a Certificate in Advanced Professional Counseling from Biblical Seminary in Philadelphia and completed postgraduate studies at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling in Nyack, NY.
One of my specialties is marriage counseling, and I completed Level II training through the Gottman Institute, widely recognized as the gold standard in couple’s therapy. This training equips me with research-based tools to help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and restore emotional and relational connection. At present, about one-third of my practice consists of marriage counseling for couples.
