Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor | LMFT, LPC
I provide remote services only
Hi! I’m Brittny. I am a daughter of the King, a devoted wife, a mother to a little girl, and a counselor of 15+ years.
I know that life can feel heavy—especially when you’re carrying it alone. Healing begins when your story is met with compassion, safety, and space to be fully seen and known. I hope to walk alongside you in this season. I offer a grounded, supportive space where you can explore your experiences openly, be gently challenged toward growth, and begin to restore what feels disconnected or weighed down within yourself or in your relationships. Together, we’ll work to navigate difficult emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and strengthen your sense of self and relationships.
I believe that mental health derives from one’s SOUL HEALTH, therefore, faith-integrated soul care is available—client-led and grounded in a non-legalistic Christian worldview—to gently support your spiritual growth.
I am a person-centered, trauma-informed therapist who joins with adult individuals, couples, and other relationships to achieve personal, relational, professional, and spiritual life goals. I aim to enrich connections, starting with you and then with others. My embodied approach helps you attune to your body’s responses as meaningful guides for healing, while emotional and relational work nurtures the heart. I integrate ACT and CBT to support compassionate acceptance, align with the truth, increase gratitude, and clarify your values so you can live more courageously.
When working with couples, I may use PREPARE/ENRICH, the Gottman Method, and/or Woodfellow’s Love Cycles/Fear Cycles model. Joining with couples, they can learn how to build on their strengths, communicate effectively, rebuild trust and intimacy, and ultimately, share and build upon their deepest desires and dreams.
My style of therapy involves homework (i.e., journaling, reading, worksheets, practicing coping skills, and utilizing support) to keep clients engaged in the healing process, so be prepared to get to work! Homework encourages clients to try new things and test their growth by practicing new skills and coping independently between sessions. Homework is a tool for actively nurturing and cultivating their own healing.
Rooted in hope and guided by compassion, this work is about more than symptom relief—it’s about meaningful, lasting transformation. If you’re ready for change—personally, relationally, or spiritually—you don’t have to do it alone. In a collaborative effort, with God’s wisdom and guidance, let’s begin planting seeds for healing, growth, and restoration—so you can flourish in this next season.
