Raised as a missionary kid in East Asia, I returned to the US and finished a bachelors degree in Music Therapy. After stepping away to raise my own missionary kids and serve alongside my husband in a restricted access country again in East Asia, I have returned to the field of counseling where I work as an addiction counselor in an outpatient clinic. I have served with Wycliffe Bible Translators as one of their counseling interns for the last two years and am now branching out to work with individuals in a remote practice during my off hours. I am trained in DBT, Addiction Counseling, CBT and Solution Focused Brief therapy. I also have the level one training in Gottman Method Couples Counseling.
