With nearly 30 years of combined clinical, pastoral, and Biblical counseling experience, Michelle is widely recognized as an expert in child and adolescent treatment. She provides parent consultations to assist families in developing thorough, practical treatment plans and in identifying the right counselor for their child or teen. She also supports parents navigating children’s mental health diagnoses and behavioral challenges, offering guidance that strengthens family systems and promotes emotional stability.
Michelle’s clinical work spans individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. Her background includes developing a crisis counseling program for a large school district and providing services in an inpatient trauma-treatment center. She brings extensive experience in educational advocacy, trauma, grief, addiction, and specialized ADHD coaching and training, and regularly treats depression, anxiety, ADHD, relational struggles, and addiction across all ages. As a former educator of 15 years and a homeschool mom, she enjoys supporting educators, administrators, and homeschool families as well.
She is a seasoned marriage counselor, having received direct training from leading experts including John Gottman, Harville Hendrix, and Sue Johnson. Michelle offers a limited number of Couples Counseling Intensives and is especially passionate about helping couples rebuild connection and stability. Her couple’s work includes support for affair and betrayal recovery, relational trauma, sex addiction, and substance-use challenges, helping partners heal, repair trust, and strengthen long-term relational resilience.
Michelle loves working with clients over 60 and is trained in EMDR, offering both trauma-focused treatment and dedicated Trauma Intensives. She also provides Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Intensives for actively engaged clients on Fridays and Saturdays.
For added accessibility, Michelle offers Christian life coaching, high-conflict co-parenting consultations, and executive/entrepreneurial coaching via phone or Telehealth. She specializes in helping high-capacity individuals improve productivity, navigate leadership roles, and manage significant life or organizational transitions.
Michelle serves on the faculty of the International Christian Coaching Institute as a Master Level Certified Life Coach and mentor coach, supporting professionals pursuing certification and advanced training. Her work includes ministry and mission-organization leadership development, where she mentors emerging and established leaders through the ICCI Mentoring program.
