Licensed Professional Counselor | MA, LPC
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor who is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they pursue emotional healing and a life that honors God. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I love partnering with fellow believers who are doing their best to walk faithfully with the Lord in the midst of real-life struggles.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in connection, curiosity, and compassion. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based modalities. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is my preferred approach, and I am Level 1 trained through the Internal Family Systems Institute. This framework allows me to help clients understand the many parts of themselves in a gentle, integrated way. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as a guide, encourager, and partner in the healing process.
Before entering the counseling field, I spent eight meaningful years as a stay-at-home mom. When my children began school, I returned to graduate school to pursue the calling I had felt on my life since sixth grade. That season of focusing on my family deepened my empathy and strengthened my ability to show up authentically with the clients I serve today. I now work not only as a therapist, but also as the Mentor Coordinator for a nonprofit that supports single mothers, helping build community and hope for families facing unique challenges.
A bit about me personally: I’m originally from Nebraska, but I’ve spent most of my life in beautiful Colorado. I’ve been happily married since 2004 and am a proud mom to two amazing teenagers. Much of my free time is spent cheering them on in their sports and activities. When I’m not on the sidelines, I love being outside—boating, camping, or catching up with friends.
At the heart of my work is a genuine passion for listening to people’s stories and helping them rediscover a sense of purpose, belonging, and God-given identity. I believe every person desires to feel whole, loved, and connected—and that healing begins when we learn to honor and care for the deepest parts of ourselves. As one author writes, “Running from pain does not move us toward healing… Committing to the process of healing takes courage and ultimately stops the cycle of brokenness, restoring PEACE piece by piece.” (Story, 2014).
If you’re ready to stop running, to pause, and to begin the courageous journey toward healing, I would be honored to walk with you.
