Licensed Master Social Worker | MSW, LMSW
If you are feeling overwhelmed and struggling with depression, anxiety, stress or grief and having trouble coping, it would be my privilege to help.
I am a Licensed Master’s Social Worker in the State of Michigan and received my Bachelor’s of Social Work Degree with high honors in 2000 from Madonna University and my Master’s of Social work Degree from Wayne State University in 2002. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, panic, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, life changes, caregiver stress, parenting concerns, women’s issues, ADHD, social skills, self-esteem, and supporting those dealing with chronic illness and/or pain. I have in-person availability at my office in Auburn Hills and I am also able to do telehealth sessions with clients who are in Michigan.
I worked in the outpatient department of Henry Ford Behavioral Health Services for 18 years and gained experience in treating children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in individual and family therapy sessions and was also a supervisor in this department for approximately two years. I have a diplomate in Cognitive Behavioral therapy from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and a certificate from a 3-day training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In the past, I have also volunteered for Sandcastles Grief Support Program, which is a grief and loss program for children and teens.
I have a very strong faith, I am very active in my local church and consider my role as a psychotherapist a calling.
No matter how difficult the path you are walking right now, remember you are not alone. Please reach out for support.
