Levi Mawhirter

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist – Associate | Ma, LMFT-A

Levi Mawhirter is passionate about helping others find hope, healing, and wholeness. He has experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, serving in some capacity since 2011. Levi loves walking with others through life’s struggles, helping teens find their footing, and strengthening marriages for the years ahead. Mr. Mawhirter’s work is collaborative and down to earth, informed by Attachment Theories, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and a Solutions Focused Therapy Approach. Levi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate supervised by Faith K. Ray.

Levi graduated with an undergraduate degree in Bible from Abilene Christian University and served in full time ministry for several years. He received his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian as well. Levi is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner through the Karin Purvis Institute for Childhood Development and has worked with foster and adoption families to build connections in the home and navigate difficult behaviors. Levi has also trained educators, church leaders, and childcare centers on taking a trauma informed care approach to their work with children.

When not at work you can find Levi cooking up something delicious in the kitchen, enjoying the outdoors, or playing with his kids. He is still working on reaching the summit of more “14ers” and visiting the National Parks with his family.
