Licensed Marriage Family Therapist – Associate
For Those That Like Brevity:
I am an associate marriage and family therapist who enjoys working with couples, families, and individuals. My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s challenges and transitions with honesty, resilience, and hope. It is my goal to create a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship with you where you know that you are seen and heard.
I am available for in person or virtual sessions.
For Those Who Want More:
My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a wide range of personal and professional experiences. My family and I spent several years serving overseas as missionaries, an experience that deepened my heart for those in full-time ministry. I am especially passionate about supporting pastors, missionaries, and ministry families as they navigate the unique demands of their calling.
Before entering the world of mental health, I worked as a registered nurse, caring for patients with HIV/AIDS, chronic illness, and those facing end-of-life issues. This background gives me a unique understanding and compassion for individuals and families dealing with chronic or terminal health conditions. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with seniors in the health care setting and believe their stories deserve to be honored and heard.
I have been married for over 30 years and am a proud mother of two adult children. Throughout my life, I have navigated a variety of roles—nurse, office manager, stay-at-home and homeschooling mom, business owner, missionary, and now therapist. These transitions have given me a deep appreciation for the complexity of change and the resilience it requires.
I believe in a collaborative therapeutic process—working alongside my clients to identify what’s no longer working, explore what meaningful change looks like, and take practical steps toward healing and growth.
I am Prepare-Enrich and Gottman Level 1 trained to help couples learn quickly areas of strength and areas for growth through researched based assessments. I am certified in Smart Step Family Therapy, an advanced training for working with blended families.
