Kelly Conlon

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor | MA, LPC

Hi! My name is Kelly and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I received my undergraduate degree in Childhood & Family Development from the University of Georgia and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in California. In graduate school, I worked with college students, Alzheimer’s patients & their families, and also offered spiritual counseling. After graduating, I gained experience working in a variety of treatment settings, including mental health hospitals, residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, outpatient substance abuse treatment centers, and private practice offices with clients of various ages and presenting problems.

I provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment, allowing clients to feel safe and capable of creating and living a fulfilling life. Seeking therapy and being vulnerable can be extremely difficult and I believe in treating my clients with the utmost respect and compassion along the way. I work with presenting problems such as: life transitions, relationship or marital problems, family dynamics/boundaries, eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, anxiety, OCD, depression, identity/sense of self, and clients identifying as highly sensitive personality types. I draw from a variety of treatment modalities and operate from a client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs and personality in order to best help them achieve their goals. I will give you the push you need to learn you are worthy of feeling empowered and confident to take on life’s challenges and I’ll even throw in some humor along the way!
