I graduated from Judson University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and in 2019 I received a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 17 years, serving diverse populations. I have provided therapy to children and families from foster/adoptive homes, worked as a crisis intervention specialist for at-risk adolescents, and helped adult clients address a wide range of issues in individual therapy.
I’ve worked supporting individuals and couples who struggle with depression, anxiety, life changes, stress management, and low self-esteem. I’ve also worked with clergy and clergy families. I’ve helped individuals work through trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. I approach counseling through a strengths-based lens, incorporating elements from cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and narrative therapy.
Most importantly, I’m a disciple of Christ and seek to honor Him both professionally and personally. I welcome the opportunity to get to know you more and help you reach your goals.
