Licensed Professional Counselor | Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate
I provide remote services only
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate. I enjoy working with individuals and couples on issues including anxiety, depression, relational issues, life transitions, communication, stress, and OCD.
My particular expertise lies in helping men who struggle with pornography and other unwanted sexual behaviors, partners whose lives have been shattered by these behaviors, and couples who want to heal from sexual betrayal. Though the pain of addiction and betrayal are very real, I fully believe that God will redeem these experiences if we allow him to.
As Gerald May says, “Although in one sense addiction is the enemy of grace, it can also be a powerful channel for the flow of grace.” If your life is in chaos as a result of your decisions or those of someone you love, you’re in the right place. Let’s work together to put the pieces back together and rebuild a life of real freedom and joy.
Before entering the mental health field, I served for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. I earned a BS in Religious Studies: Theology and Apologetics and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I am a member of the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals and work part-time providing counseling services to the students of my alma mater in Lynchburg, Virginia.
I provide virtual-only services to anyone in the state of VA. I accept insurance and private pay, and can provide a superbill to submit to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Reach out and we can schedule a free 15-minute to see if we’d be a good fit.
I look forward to hearing from you and beginning our work together!
