Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor | Ph.D., M.Div., M.Sci., LMFT-S
Dr. Leo Mora is a family man and, secondly, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor (LMFT-S) in the Lone Star state. He and his wife, Wendy, have been married since 1976. They first met in 1975 while attending high school in Southern California.
Dr. Leo provides therapy and counseling services for individuals, couples, and families, and, upon request, offers a Christian faith-based worldview on many personal, relevant, and contemporary issues. He treats anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and acute sexual/eating/gambling addictions and can capably speak to LGBT-Q and ethnic minority issues and concerns. Also, Leo specializes in treating complex combat trauma among active-duty service members and family members, retirees, and veterans from all five branches of the Department of Defense (DoD). The U. S. Army regards him as an expert in posttraumatic stress injury (PTSI) treatment and recovery.
Upon your first visit, you can expect a warm and inviting reception, characterized by unconditional positive regard. (My practice location offers a handicapped-accessible entrance for those in need.) We will get to know one another in the first session and work to tailor your treatment goals to establish what you need first. So, call me, set up an appointment, then come in and experience the difference!
