Denise graduated with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education in 1992. She went on to earn an M.A. in Elementary Education in 1997. Denise and her family served as international missionaries in four different countries from 2005-2020. During her time overseas, she was able to invest in the local community through education, mentorship, leadership roles, Biblical guidance, marriage and family support, and parenting seminars. Denise has had the privilege of working cross-culturally in a variety of settings with people from all over the world and values diversity. Denise graduated with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in May 2022. Denise values a holistic approach to treatment with the belief that “one size does not fit all” and each person has unique challenges and needs. She is especially interested in helping individuals heal from trauma and supporting them as they create new stories for their lives by drawing on individuals’ strengths and their support systems.
