Amanda’s calling to serve others is rooted in her deep faith and commitment to God’s design for healthy, flourishing relationships. Her passion for helping individuals and couples restore and enrich their connections is grounded in biblical principles, and she views her work as a ministry to bring healing and wholeness through Christ.
With experience across various mental health settings—including community mental health, hospitals, schools, and private practice—Amanda offers compassionate care to those struggling with mood disorders like anxiety and depression, behavioral and social challenges, and the trials of life transitions. She is dedicated to guiding clients on their path of self-discovery and spiritual growth, employing therapeutic approaches that include Christian Clinical Counseling, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotional Regulation, all integrated with a biblical worldview.
In her marriage counseling, Amanda draws on both Scripture and research-based techniques from the Gottman Institute to help couples strengthen their relationship. She specializes in guiding couples to navigate conflict biblically, enhance mutual respect, grow in friendship, and deepen their affection and intimacy. By offering tools grounded in God’s Word, Amanda helps couples build a stronger, Christ-centered foundation, fostering greater understanding and a more connected and supportive future together.
