Emily was born in a small town – Woodburn, IN and has been living in Indianapolis since 2011. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her training at Concordia University @ Austin (BA) & Indiana Wesleyan University (Master of Arts in Counseling) and has about 15 years of post-graduate experience in Counseling.
Emily was a foreign exchange student in London at Oak Hill Seminary in 2003 and also served in Mexico (2002) and China (2005). She is married with 3 children – (15), (9), and (7). She and her husband have enjoyed hosting 15 exchange students from Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Angola, and Spain in their home. Both Emily and her husband are 5th degree black belts, and they have been training in and teaching Tae Kwon Do for 17 years. In her free time Emily enjoys ministry, family time, singing, dancing, walks in her neighborhood, and travelling.
