I have been working in the clinical mental health field for the last 15 years, with the last 10 working with children, adolescents, teens, families, individuals and marriages in my private group practice, Burien Counseling. I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior and that is the worldview from which I work in counseling. I practice a Gospel Centered CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). All this really means is I try to understand your afflictions and issues through a biblical lens and look to what scripture says as a means of treatment. No two individuals, families and marriages are the same. Everyone has a story that has hurt, but everyone has access to Jesus and his great healing love and salvation.
